the world is not lost we can turn around still we could burn it down keep our towns still but somethings not working its clear all around here the haze has been building we can’t see the ground here and how can we drink it if we know that we’re downstream from the money making building where everything is brown still it’s impossible now to live off this land greedy corporations have all played a hand the landlord wants more and so ive got a plan so lets burn all our cash and just live in my van the world is not lost we’ve got miles to go still or we could go home i still feel hopeful if and if that dont work out we’ll move to the country and built our own house at least we’ll have something to hang over our heads when winter starts dumping and when we get hungry i guess we’ll go hunting and what will we tell them when somebody comes here and says that they’re a drummer and we already have one here well im sure we’ll still take em it will all become clear that there’s enough bacon to feed everyone here the world is not lost we’ve got the ground still and we’ve got each other at least you’re around still and we won’t become like everyone else selling their souls living for themselves i’ll call you my family if you call me your friend you don’t have to ask me you know what i meant but feel free to question if things don’t make sense some shit might go down and in that event dont cling to me close or go where you’re sent just fight with your claws and speak with your chest my hope is not lost that things could still shake out and we could be friends even if we don’t make out

amour fou 02:13
remember when is the lowest form of conversation ive been in bed watching with morbid fascination amour fou we both know that i want you is it the light or the heat that makes me fight to keep my place or to not scream in your face i keep my cool thats how a real made man moves amour fou may the fire bind us two amour fou may the fire bind us two like tony said i do not fear assassination kill the head there are bodies you’ll be facing amour fou i am running out of patience i need you like a forged financial statement that says i do something boring on the daily when im with you countin dirty cash with my baby amour fou may the fire bind us two amour fou may the fire bind us two we go to eat at our favorite restaurant who’s to say what is next or whats to come you hold my hand we’ve got a plan to make it out out of the state and this crime infested house i look around something caught my eye just now look back down dont see a thing or hear a sound

the cops freak me out and yeah i break the law but the law is unjust and its not my fault the cops freak me out why are they parked right there shut up why do you care well they might remember my hair and i can tell from their stares that they can smell in the air we’ve been breaking from DARE i really doubt that they care hurry lets break for the stairs hey what just happened back there you looked so senseless and scared why would you run from the cops thats just suspicious as fuck i think that was the same one that i saw last month when i was smoking out front he killed that kid with his gun the cops freak me out and yeah i break the law but the law is unjust and its not my fault the cops freak me out i was just smoking outside and they ran right by chasing a kid with a knife and i was scared for my life not from the kid with the knife i saw their guns in the light from the street signs it was night so i ducked out of their sight i watched him run for his life i watched him slip on the ice instead of kicking the knife they started kicking his spine i started losing my mind i tried to run inside but i stepped in the light they yelled out come back outside the cops freak me out and yeah i break the law but the law is unjust and its not my fault the cops freak me out they’re always across the street maybe they’re getting chinese i think theyre watching me to catch me smoking weed they wanna bother me and take all my ecstasy then they will sentence me and they will make me clean thats if it gets that far what if we get to the car and it is late and its dark and they drive out to the park what if they laugh and they start pointing their guns at my heart i plead im young and im smart but the barrels still spark the cops freak me out and yeah i break the law but the law is unjust and its not my fault the cops freak me out

well is it gonna be like this forever you ever gonna give me back my sweater? and i know the last time you said never but i really think im doing better im always dealing with dejection from yet another failed obsession no one ever gets the message no one really gets me i dont get it walkin to your apartment no intentions with my own heart with no protection and i really wish that you had mentioned that all you wanted was attention and i should rip up all the letters all the drawings i never sent her because i swear im getting better and it won’t be like this forever

capital 02:07
theres a sign in your face it says you should buy how can you win the race if you don’t even try you have to get first place no time to wonder why and you get so worked up that you just start to cry and it’s not your fault what your heart wants is at odds with the state but you dont wanna die the process eliminates theres no other reason why its clear bright as day that you have to get by and you get so worked up that you just start to cry because there’s just some things we have to know and so lets march down to the capitol they say “how can we change you know we’ve never even tried and besides you’re insane everything you think is lies so lets just play this game and you dont you ever ask me why” and you get so worked up that you just start to cry and they think its best not to control this mess and so there’s guns abound you better watch your eye dont you dare look around they’ll remind ya you’re alive you’ll get used to the sounds of when your friends die and you’ll get so worked up that you’ll just start to cry because there’s just some things we have to know and so lets march down to the capitol
